Here are a couple tips for success with affiliate program:

• People are more likely to get interested in a product and click on a link if you provide a picture of the item.  Most affiliates programs have cut and paste code that makes it easy to do this, but you will need to have some understanding of the HTML code on your site.

• Providing a button that lets the customer add an item to their cart directly from your website is likely to be more successful than if they have to visit the affiliate site and then add the item to their cart
  
• It helps to provide some relevant information about the product you're recommending and to say something positive about it.  Hopefully you're not including links to products you don't believe in anyway
